w00t you can import your pokemon from the GBA games to diamond and pearl. Should be useful... Took me sooo long to get that lvl 100 Black Charizard... ¬_¬; just over 5000 openings of that damn pokeball and YAY shiny charmander!

... Then I found out that unlike in G/S/C they removed decent preset IVs for shiny pokemon... Great.
Still, it had reasonable IVs so I trained it up some. It's roughly 1/8000 chance of a shiny pokemon is it not?
I wanted Black Rayquaza
but no dice.

I can't wait until my fiendish Blissey reaches levevl 100 on Fire Red version.
It knows substitute and softboiled. Blissey can have over 700HP at lvl 100, that means that it's doll has around 180 Hp
It can heal the damage caused by substitute in a single softboiled.
It also knows toxic. So it can just poison your party and hide behind dolls and heal itself until all the enemy pokemon die by themselves XD or run out of PP ^_^
Its' last move is counter. Whatever HP damage is dealt to blissey with a physical attack is doubled and sent right back.
This works great on Blissey, cause it has loads of HP and hardly any defense. So it takes loads of HP damage, but survives due to collosal HP, counters back and 1-Hit-KOs a machamp. That'll teach people to use fighting mons' vs my Blissey -_-; fools.

Edit: I just remembered that in pokemon Silver, before I got Ruby and Fire Red, I found TWO shiny Golbats on Victory Road. So if anyone still plays those slightly older games and wants a shiny Crobat... Make one from the shiny Golbats you may find on V.Road.
Since the "Metal" editions of pokemon (Gold/Silver/Crystal) have decent preset IVs for shiny pokemon, don't worry so much that you'll be losing out on some EV point training by catching the pokemon as a Golbat.
