well...while were on the subject of DBZ, imo, the problem is it takes so long for the fighting to begin. You start watching an episode and half of it is like all the fighters making weird sounds. Krillen "ahhh....ahhh", Gohan "rrrrr....rrrrrrrr" and stuff like that. Then there is a bit of talking in between and some insults are exchanged. Then you think, "YES! finally the fighting!". So, they exchange some punches and kicks, then they stop and say things either like "not bad" or "you've dissapointed me" or something along those lines. and then the announcer comes on and says the usual "will so and so get through this fight? Tune in next time to another EXCITING (stresses that 
) episode of Dragonball Z". And then it ends, but it doesn't leave you in suspense, it makes you sorta angry as how they kept you waiting. I guess if you own the series on dvd, its alright because you don't have to rely on the tv to watch it when it comes on. thats just my opinion
