True, that's the general idea with Brownian Motion anyway. It's also a possible reason for us making predictions (see next comment).
Response to underlined bit:
The physics of the lottery does have some subtle variations, true, but this is why we make predictions. Nobody can truly know a future outcome, I'll give you that, so we make hypotheses to see if the outcome predicted in a hypothesis is the same as the actual, some say predetermined (by various cray things as well as physics, no less) outcome.
General response: There's a rational explanation for nearly everything, except what happens after death, and also most of this spiritual stuff that could not possibly be explained through standard physics. (Example: Levitation without ropes.)
On-topic bit: The unofficial verdict of the PDrop trades is that the guy that wanted the PDrops was illegit and offering illegit items.
