(While using a wep with 45% hit)
My hunes ATA is 286 (189). -45% the value returns to 230-238 or so. The value outside the brackets matters most, and your weapon acc determines how high this will be. Hit% is a bonus if you think about it. I never found a weap with ANY % higher than 50%.
Hit percentage has great influence on how often you hit with a special attack. And even greater influence on how often you hit over all. In episode II, don't even bother if you dont have acc(value outside the brackets) over 240.
ATA has no relation to tech attacks. Megid's chance of killing is based on a formula. The lv of the spell coupled with what I think the amount of resistance of the monster you're using it against determines the chance. <--That is a guess though. It would be nice if ATA affected megid. LOL
