DC and Broadband, a small question
#11
Once I'm online with the XB, I might try and persuade him to go online with his GC, although he might not want to as he doesnt play PSO much anymore.

Ohhh, I remember the time I wanted a DC BBA. I went on Ebay.com only to find them for $100. But, there is a little guide somewhere on the net that tells you how to have your DC dial up your computer, who sends the broadband connection to it. Of course, it will still be at dialup speeds.

Here, I will go look for it, be right back!

EDIT: Whew, that was quick... Go here: http://www.consolevision.com/members/mterlouw/

Have fun!

Be warned that 90% of the time that guide doesn't work for UK DC Modems.

Well, I have a U.S. Dc, and the guide didn't work for me either. I don't know what the problem was, whatever.

I just posted it incase it helped somebody.

What really interests me is the very active world of DC development. It think the DC has the most mature homebrew development community of all the systems. With Kallistios and all these 3rd parties, the DC still lives on.

I found a website, http://www.dreamcast-scene.com, and they are making a GP32<->Dreamcast adapter. Since the homebrew coding scene for both is growing, that might be cool.

I did have a point for all that, I just can't remember. I think I got carried away, again. Oh yeah, It was all supposed to lead up to where I say:

I wish I had the DC BBA.

Well then, it is quite sad how the Dreamcast ended. I can't believe it's still not going strong. I remember in September 1999, it was my 10th birthday and we went to BestBuy. Everybody was going nuts about the Dreamcast! I wanted to get one, but I didn't have enough.

I bought one in 2001 right after they discontinued it.

Wow, I set a new record for myself. This is the most off topic I've ever gone!
