Now, what do I need to get on X box live?

To get onto Xbox Live, pop down to GAME and get yourself an Xbox Live starter kit, which is £19.99 when you buy anything else instore (Buy a bloody cheap magazine lol) - I think the offer is still on. Normally it's quite expensive. That will come with a 12 Month subscription, mic & headset, and Xbox Live Arcade bonus disc and possibly a game too! I got PGR 2! lol

Otherwise if you don't want to do that, go to the little Xbox Live rectangle on the 'Xbox Dashboard' and it'll give you all your options there or 3 month, 6 month, 12 month subscriptions, etc. which obviously won't come with everything else, just the online gaming package!

You'll also need to setup Internet Connection Sharing on your PC using a LAN cable to connect up your Xbox360. Simple as abc really since they're both Microsoft products, pretty much goes hand in hand!

Don't they use keyboards with x box live?

I think I'll just get the mic and headset seperate - only 20 pounds on Amazon.

You say it's simple Lee but I've never done that type of connection! Explain NOW.

Hehe, i've typed it out so many times, i REALLY should set this up as a guide... in the meantime read through my posts in this forum thread, replacing Broadband Adapter with Xbox360.

Basically, plug a LAN cable between the Xbox360 and PC, go to 'My Network Places', click on 'View Network Connections', click on 'Set-up a small home or office connection', and follow the on-screen instructions! Once you've set it all up, your Xbox360 should detect the connection almost immediately once it's registered that you're sharing it on your PC, and you can connect.

And as for the £20 just for the headset and mic... why not get a free subscription aswell at the sametime? lol - If my memory serves me correctly, it's about £20 for the subscription alone aswell. Value for money And no, they don't use keyboards *sigh*

Ohhhhh cmon teh Ria we all gave ours were all freinds mine is still sapharas and oh yeah I got to talk to lee yoshi it was awsome. If you need help setting it up I can help its not to complicated. ooops yeah well there is now a one year subscription with a mic for the 360 you can get it about anywhere it hould cost you around 70 bucks for us but for europe Im not sure. :S

Hehe, just had an interesting game of Xbox Live PDZ to say the least with old work colleages... always fun though, even if i do play a bit sh*t If anyone does want to play me on Live though, you'll need to do it before Saturday, otherwise you'll have to wait until easter time to do it again! :O
