on emerald i went for the grass type starter. high speed+ highish spec atk=owned. it was hard on the fire gym. i cannot wait for this also i donno if any of you know this but there is(i think) a link up system so at after one point you can get your ownage pkmn from the 3rd gen games (rube/firered ect...).
Currently playing:
Pso2 - ship2: Player ID "dnd"
Lv55 Fighter - Lv50 Hunter - lv38 Gunner - Lv32 Ranger

The evolutions have pretty much stayed the same they just added some moves and took some away that's all.

Apart from the fact solar beam needs charge or sunny day preparation and water starter can learn blizzard

Stat differences among starters are minimal.
I doubt there will be link up. Every time the games change technology compatibility is lost (with the exception of pokemon crystal, but emerald stuck to GBA technology

)
nevermind.

grass starter=300+ speed base at lv100 = faster then water/ground 3rd from water starter = 4 times super effactive with leaf blade=owned water starter

.
it will be easy to put in the code for gba ds link. as its only a short way from the two slots (and it can be done as metriod pinball came with a rumble pack to put in gba slot and it worked perfectly)

I'll probably get these too; seems pretty interesting. I'd need a DS though. D:

Actually that's wrong, the Grass Starter's final form...Todaitos even with a favoriable Nature and Speed EV's training couldn't hope to get it's MAX speed base up to 300...I think it's something like 280 is.
On the other hand...Movesets...for that mofo
Curse
Earthquake
Crunch
Wood Hammer
He's going to be a beast.
Goukazaru IS Blaziken, just swap base HP/ and Speed stats around. Make him a Special Sweeper...
Flamethrower
Scheme (Raises Sp. Atk 2 levels are you f**king kidding me? Heck yes.)
Blaze Kick
(Filler Move)
Enperuto is going to be the hardest to make use of in the Metagame, Luster Cannon is an idea move for him, but the rest is kinda' iffy, he's a Mixed Sweeper at best with no real job.
(I joined Serebii, I'm on there as what else....EkwEE)

Ummm If we're talking about D/P...Enperuto gets a Water/Steel Type duality,
Todaitos a Grass/Ground
and Goukazaru a Fire/Fighting.
