Phantasy Star Universe for PS2

PSU probably wont be online, because, they made PSO for GC and XB, and they already got a public, for more PS online games, if PSU would be a MMORPG, it should also has been released for GC and XB

Yeah, If you're playing as a certain character, it will probably be offline. Unless they have you pick who you want to be in a team before joining it.

I don't know if any of you know this, but PlayStation 2 already has two Phantasy Star remakes under their belts. They also have a trilogy coming out sometime this month I believe, so that is most likely the reason that Phantasy Star Universe will be a PS2-exclusive title. That being said, chances are that it will never see a port to the GameCube or the XBox. Now, from what I understand, the gameplay is the exact same as PSO offline as well as online. Luckily I have the PS2 as well as the XBox, so I'm set. Maybe if you ask Sonic Team really nice...

Yeah...PSU would continue the history of the first PS games...

But there is Phantasy Star Collection for GBA, so why not release in Gamecube???

And the Online mode, Yuji Naka, said that your character can be much more customized than in PSO

I'm curious to see this customizaton >_>...

Yes, you're right. I previously posted that PSU was a PS2-exclusive title. I forgot about the PC version. I don't think I'll like PC as much, however. Here's why: Yes, the graphics may be better, but I would assume that it is harder to play on the PC than the PS2. But the biggest reason is because PS2 does not charge for it's online service, while PC would. So, if you play it on PS2, you can do so free of charge, much like CAPCOM's wonderful title, Monster Hunter.

That doesnt mean SEGA couldn't charge you for playing PSU on PS2 online using the same Hunters License system they've always used. They can charge for any game they like! lol - Lets just hope they dont

Now that I thought about it, I wouldn't mind seeing Phantasy Star Universe i=on the PS2. It DOES have the biggest online community besides Xbox Live (which wouldn't be wise since it is a closed network) and I can always just get it for the PC (according to EGM, the PC Version will be WAY better anyway), so basically, the more people playing online, the better I suppose right?

Did you guys hear about the awsome offline mode? I'm excited about that too.
