I know many people who I think are legit tell others who find really rare weapons to make backups for them. Do you think its ok to dupe backups?

No I don't. Even if it's a backup, I don't like the sound of it. Many people here will disagree with me, however.
If I get to go online, I will probably end up having to make backups though... or I could just use only 1 weapon.
Too legit to quit.

Yes, it's fine. As long as you're not going to trade the dupes for your own benefit and it's just a gaurd against corruption or FSOD it's ok. I dont see a problem with it, unless you're going to get all "Other people don't protect themself against FSOD so you have an unfair advantage". If you think that way, I would say that you're not at an advantage, other people are at a disadvantage simply because they fail to prepare.

I'm all for it and have done it since my 2nd corruption. I'm on what? my 9th I think? Backup is simply to protect your items from mishaps such as FSODs. I even backp my stuff to my PC to save from corruption, and I make level codes, to get right back to where I was, so it's like a minor road block, or maybe even just an FSOD with a pain in the ass time consuming recovery...
And though I still have a load of anti fsods loaded on my AR, I still backup because theres always a FSOD with no anti or protection.

I'm not online yet but when I get on I still couldn't make backups because I have Plus. Of course, the plus protection against FSOD is much better then the regular PSO if I understand correctly.
