I believe you are right my friend. At least that is what Sonic Team says anyway. I don't really agree with backing up Items. It is duping after all. I do undertand the reason people who are not doing it for personal gain do it but if we all just played the game and let the chips fall where they may, wouldn't it be reasonable to say Sonic Team would have to fix the problem? Right? Please tell me I'm right!! Don't tell me Sonic Team doesn't really give a damn! Even if it's the truth, please don't! If you want to back up that's fine. I just don't do it. Not my style. It's been proven over and over, ST just does NOT CARE. They'll fix glitches that cause duping, but not glitches that make duping for backup necessary in the first place. Bunch of hypocrites. Bleh...

My view personally(as one who's gone through the whole dupping/hacking, trading them, making craploads of money and or rares, not liking it, purging, etc thing) is that dupping is ok for backups...though its hard not to dupe for rares that you really want. Its also hard once you start, to stop. Like drugs-not that I'm addicted or anything, I'm going on hearsay. :O

You know, that is an incredibly good point. I have never duped for backup even though I agree with it because

1.) The instructions look like t could be a lot of hastle and i simply cannot be bothered its a game anyhoo...

2.) I know I wint stop, so I just won't start.
