Interesting.
Aipom and Tangela both get an evolution, Swinub gets a 3rd evolution, and Porygon 2 get to evolve to Porygon Z ...

Why can't they have types other than fire, water and plant for starting Pokémon? Oo, the water starter one looks like a penguin Big Grin ...*blabs randomly

They have those set like that as starters for balance issues.

Look at the monkey's stats...Namely it's final evolution Goukazaru, then compare it to Blaziken. Not only is it the same type alignment, it's a clone. HP and Speed stats are swapped. No originality there.

I'm liking the new features:
-Time! (It never should have been taken away!)
-REAL genders (I could never think of a geodude as a female. Tongue)
-Wi-fi battles!!

I agree they shouldn't have removed the day/night thing. Will we ever see Gold/Silver again? :S

The new game had better be backwards compatible with the earlier versions, or else they'll have to re-release Firered/Leafgreen.
