I have to say I am not impressed with xbox live on the 360 so far. On my old xbox the voice quality was really good, on the 360 it sounds really bad I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problems. Also I cant seem to find a way to have group chat on dash board either :'(

Which Mic are you using? The old one or a new 360 one?
Group chat hasn't been introduced yet either.
Other than those things, Live is muuuch better than it used to be

I have to admit I was annoyed after playing crack down with a robot voice in my head for a couple hours. I have the wireless and a wired mic they both sound about the same quality.

360 has waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better voice quality than the old xbox games, believe me. The robot voice will just be a voice filter.

Yeah, someone is messing with the quality of their voice on the editor. You don't have time for that shiz when going at it in Gears though.

It won't be a voice filter. They did away with voice filters and masks for the 360.
Only thing I can suggest is maybe the mic jack on the controller is abit iffy? (As you said its both mics that have bad quality).
Either that or you connection is breaking up voices? I'm not sure, sorry.

Yeah, they did do away with voice masks. That's why there's selectable ones in most games now. =P

What? As far as I was aware, there aren't any masks in any games at all... :S
At least thats what MS stated earlier on in the 360's life.
