I'm going along the same limited-party lines as Kiwi, until I get the Pokemon I want. For now, I'll raise the ones I'll use in future parties at high levels. Done with the second Gym, with a party of 5 at level 21. It's more like 4, but I'm leveling my Kadabra for the hell of it.
Current party at the moment is:
Monferno
Luxio
Staravia
Budew
Kadabra (Sorta, trade pokemon, he levels fast, why not.)

If I get my hands on a Turtwig, I'll switch with Budew. But more so than that I'm aiming for a Pinplup. -Drones through wifi-

I've got Piplups out the ass *Brother traded a female to me*, I'll trade you one, and a Turtwig for the Regis...Lost my save file on my Leaf Green that had them. Just so I can get Regigigas, then I'd trade them back to you.

*Edit* Beat the Elite Four last night and started up the Pal Park, transferred over many negros.

Beat the Elite 4, then go to the Pal Park, Prof Oak will walk you through some of the stuff. Talk to the guy at the counter, then save the game, turn it off. Insert one of the GBA games and make sure you have the guys you want to transfer in one of your PC boxes. Save the GBA game then turn it off. Load up D/P, talk to the guy, he'll ask you if you want to have a catching show, say yes, then you go into the park. Fairly simple. Anything that isn't a legendary is easy to find, any legendary isn't that hard to find. It's actually a simple process.

You get six Pal Park balls and you catch the six that you loaded into the park. I loaded my 5 lv 100's from LG (I lost my other team of lv 100's due to Deoxy's corruption ( ), and a moltres, and I found them all within 3-4 minutes. The Pal Park balls have a 100% capture rate so you're guarenteed you nigs.

Dusk Stone? Is that the dark lavender one?

I've got two or three. They're used to evolve Misdrevis and Murkrow I believe. I need at least one of them since I just started my Pearl last night (Finally got a Modest Piplup after a few hours of restarting.) and I'm going to use one to get a Mismagius.

On a side note, a team was much easier to plan around Piplup and have it be balanced moreso that I could do with Chimchar/Turtwig....Chimchar still sucks. Turtwig is still the badness.

Orphen, I'll try to have my WiFi crap registered on Saturday for this game, the fact that they give you a different friend code for every game is ridiculous, on top of my AC:WW and MPH and Mario Cart I'm goingt to have one for both D/P respectively. Post your YIM name in here so I can get it easier. That way, when I'm at my dad's I'll be able to register you, if you on YIM on Saturday, you can do the same for me.

Also, I should have Heatran. All I need as far as the legendaries are concerned is Cresselia/Mesprit/Heatran/and Palkia(That are non-event legendaries...*mutters* Stupid Manaphy being a ripoff with that crappy ranger, and Dark Rai and Sheimi and Fione and Giritania). I'm willing to trade some things to you if you have the Johto starters...I can get you females and males of the Hoenn/Kanto/Sinnoh starters if you like, but i need the Johto ones.

We'll work everything out when I get you registered so we can chat across the DS mic.

Side Note: Have had the game for 11 days....and I have 100 hours in it.

Though we can still get on Saturday. Odds are that I won't be at a computer. -Is on a wii- So I'll be sure to check here frequently, and you can pass me a PM. I don't have the johto starters, however I'm going to check the GTS to see if I can get my hands on a few. Man, I need a Ditto.
Chimchar isn't bad, he's just not exactly your normal starter. Fire and fighting is pretty random, has a few weaknesses, and doesn't exactly make up for them. I may get another fire pokemon instead, maybe. I have all three starters myself. Two from my friend residing in Japan. Also, I've had a Luxio and I'm gonna have to say his stats are really beginning to turn me off of him...Perhaps I'll grab an Electabuzz.
But yeah, send me a PM Saturday. And just for the hell of it, my YIM is Gatekeepernova, for when I am on.
Well, not bad, by the way, 5 days and 48 hours here. Funny thing is, I'm at the 3rd gym.

I only have a cyndaquil. It's an issue, granted I need a ditto to breed him.
