and don't you think its sad that you can buy an adapter to use a PS2 controller on x box just because microsoft doesn't ahve any originality?!

And you can buy these adaptors for PC, GC, Playstation 1 & 2 (other consoles joypads to PS 1/2), Dreamcast, Xbox.

i wholeheartedly agree, Xbox is crappy, and all the arguments posted here defend that. Halo was SOOOOOO overrated, wow, flashy graphics, what good is it if the game has no substance? Other than that, i havent even heard of any good games on the Xbox (especially the ones that are Xbox exclusive, those seem to be the worst).

Although I agree with sliced bread, I don't like Xbox, I do agree with Aaron. If you don't like it, don't stir up the rest of the forum by making a whole thread about how it sucks. Which it does.

Xbox has its moments. Althoguh i'm not am xbox fan, and don't own an xbox...or don't want to own an xbox, i have to say that Halo is actually a one of a kind game. Halo is brilliant, but only really in aspects on multiplayer. the System Link-up feature is brilliant. 16 player Halo is godly, and only then will you realise the game is fun and good to play. However on its own on a single console. Mulitplayer co-operative features are also good. Its hard to come by a good co-op game these days. I'd have to say that that does get boring after a while. To me, thats all the console is good for.

As i said before, as in the first post, the thread will still remain open, aslong as it doesn't turn into a console war. Posting about the xbox's good and bad features are a good start to a nice discussion, however this seems to be turning into a console war. Anymore so, and it will most likely be locked. ^_^

is it really becoming a console war, or does Xbox have more bad qualities than good so it seems like were attacking it when were simply bringing up the facts? I dunno, i strongly dislike it, graphics wise, its the worst of the 3 (GCN has the best graphics capabilities but oftentimes PS2 beats Gamecube in graphics, but there are cases-such as the Resident Evils- were the graphics are superior to all systems), Game selection wise its the worst (PS2 is the best because its been out the longest), Game Quality is the worst (any game thats moreorless decent is on other platforms and all the original Xbox exclusive games are bad, save Halo, which still isnt too great to me), Controller/control system is THE WORST ever (i have big hands and its still too bulky for me, plus in Halo its like one joystick turns your head, one moves your left foot, the other moves your right foot, the other aims...etc and yes iknow i put one too many joysticks so dont even say it). I dunno, i fail to see any redeeming qualities in it, especially any that would merit me spending $200 or so on it.

I dont want to stir up anything here but Xbox does not have th worst graphics capabilties, in fact its the GC that has the worst. Im not saying that because i dislike GC because I dont, I just found this out thanks to an extra mag a came free with an old Edge magazine.

Well, I don't know which one has better graphics, but GC definitely puts their stuff to better use. Xbox needs to really push their console to the limit to get a good fan base, cuz it definitely seems like they won't get it here.
