Billy Hatcher and the giant egg
#1
Has anyone played this game?
Wonderfully made by sega. I am thinking of getting it for my birthday but I wanna know what other people thought of it first.

I watched the traliers and loved the random and insaneness of it.
A boy gets a chicken suit and rolls around eggs.

The theme songs just strange and annoying though and It really gets to me.
Heres basicly what it is:
*chicken noise*
*children sing* D,I,N,D,DDD!! D,I,N,DD! LA LA LAA LA LA LAA
Thats the whole song.
I mean what the hell does DINDDDD mean! It doesn't spell anoy thing!
Stupid kids didn't learn their english lesson!!!...
Yeah That doesn't stop me from thinking about buying it.
So whats it like?

looks like a pretty bad game, somewhere along the lines of that tiki and the power of juju game, which looks pitiful.

Hm, I guess your right, I mean I would have never played jal and daxter had my friend not got it, and that was a good game. I just hope that this game is good, but I will wait for someone else to get it. XD Besides, Im saving up for a new gamecube.

Ive played it! However i havent bought it. I just tried it out for a little while, and the storyline is ok, not sure about any audio, volume was down at the time! lol (Maybe it was just aswell)

Gameplay however was actually quite good and ingenius! It will last for a while, just not forever! Possibly worth a buy, maybe you should rent it first, and see for yourself!

Same here ...la la la la... Damn! Get out of my head! Anyway, I heard the game is good but the levels are apparently too simple and linear in design. But I reserve judgeement untill I play it.

Just incase some of you (Who live in the UK) are thinkin about whether or not to buy Billy Hatcher & The Giant Egg for the Gamecube, buy Nintendo Official Magazine UK (Which came out on December 12th), and make sure you buy it from GAME and no-where else!

Why? Because NOM and GAME have partnershipped to bring out a special and first ever Gamecube Demo Disk, which features 2/3 levels from Billy Hatcher & The Giant Egg!
(Thank god i work there! lol)

So remember peops, grab ure copy of the mag from a GAME store quick, before they run out, causing you 2 kick ureself stupid!

I got this game on my Birthday.
One of the funest games ever! Buy it it's like so fun and cool. There are also loads of missions in one level that you can do to make it last longer.
There is also conectivity where you have to hatch a certain type of egg in a level and a GBA falls out which unlocks a game you can upload to GBA.
There are loads of eggs to get. something like 90 eggs. They each hatch something diffrent and some have animals which you can summon magic with.
There is also some traces of other games in there.
I will post these later gotta go to school!

Edit:
Right it has got lots of things from famous games made by sega. Such as Sonic,Chao,Rappy,Samba de Amigo and much more.
One of the eggs called the jester egg contains a hat which looks like nights jester hat.
It's great fun checking out all the secret refrences to other games because you can then shout out "I know that character"
It also has multiplayer for more fun.
