Slipknot - "Spit it Out"

Seeing The UnnamedOne's post made me want to go back and listen to Vermilion Part II as well...so I did. It's my favorite of their music. It and Part One.

Slipknot is WAY overated, their vocalist is good, but that's about it. Go listen to Kill Switch Engage, the lead singer is BLACK, and he can ACTUALLY metal. -_-;

As for me, I just listened to Five Bolt Main, The best of the CD is probably 'Pathetic', 'Bid Farewell' 'Wait in Line' 'Life of Mine' and 'Seem to be Fine (This song is almost all vocals, but Chris is good at singing[no synthesizer] unlike that hypocritical prick Scott Stapp.)

Metal is okay. Not really one of my favorite genres at all, though. I like Vermillion and Vermillion Part II.

In your opinion. I've found some metal I like, but then again my music tastes are so varied I'll listen to just about anything, depending on my current mood and mindset.

As for Emo...a *great deal* of it is annoying, this is true. I saw an emo band one time where the boy was on the ground screaming at teh top of his lungs (not singing, screaming) and writhign around...and it left me like O_O;;;;;;.

But blanket statements don't always work. Not all people who like emo are cutters who hate themselves and want to die. Just like not all people into punk are anarchists, or people into metal devil worshippers. Heh...and not all people who love JRock are Japanese.
