I have heard it. I have some on my mp3 player. Most songs by current rap artists are about "pimping hoes" and "poppin caps in (racial term)s" cause they dont "roll like them". even take the fact that they sacrifice meaning for anything and some even dont make sense "i took the bullets out ma 9 and put dem in ma .45" which really cant happen because they are two completely difrent kinds of ammo. Now for every 25 g-rap songs you get a good one that actually has something to say. Which in this case i like the song and will listen to it more than the first time i hear it.
Im not really into rap, especially "Gangsta rap"
I used to listen to rap and hip hop but that was sorta because everyone else was lol
At the moment im really liking Coheed and Cambria's new album "Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV"
Third Eye Blind- Burning Man/Semi-Charmed Life
ohh come on
snoop dogg and dr.dre are the best.not like any of the new things, all the older music
n.w.a are good as well
In the case of Rap music, most of it today is atrocious, the old rap about being in the ghetto, with your 'crew' and just trying to survive the day was so much better. But I don't mind DMX and Eminem x)
Back on topic....
Nine Inch Nails - Reptile
Linkin Park- Numb/Somewhere I Belong
Im hearing everything like Rock/Metal:
Iron Maiden, Metallica, Deftones, SoaD, Marylin Manson a.s.o.
Besides that I like 80`s and some Game Soundtracks

Silent Hill 2-Promises(Laura's Theme)
I've moved onto more heavy teritory recently...Slayer, Pantera and Metallica being main contenders.
Im going to see Trivium in 2 weeks though, so Im in a Trivium mood, so at the moment its...
Trivium - Like Light To The Flies
WOO!
I'm listening to something that isnt Japanese for a rare moment.
Panic! At The Disco - There's a Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't Realised It Yet
