I doubt it'll come out on any of them for the following reasons;
DS; no compatable interface with any console, (despite it's 802.11b feature, it can't connect to the internet either at the moment), also there are rumours of an independant PSO game being made, though this is just hear/say.
GC: The Nintendo 21 is already in development, and the GC is slowly phasing out to make way for this at the end of 2005/start of 2006.
X-Brick: PSO1/2 is no-where near as popular on it as it is on GC, also, the X-Brick 2 is already in development.
PSO5/PSU isn't even half finished, it'll be showed at the next E3, so we will be able to speculate from there.
Ive been bored a little bit lately. I cudda been playing on my DS, but ive had enough of it today i think, im not to keen on handhelds for the reason of positioning, but more on that another time XD
Ive come across some more Universe rumours and images, so i thought id post them all here. This isnt news, because it really is JUST rumour and speculation, nothing near fact at all!
Firstly is the game page for PSU on 1up.com
It states the game is playable for 65 players (Random number, or something more sinister?) and its release date is on November 20th 2005. Well theres been many release dates for it so dont expect that to be true, although 1up is part of the EGM (American Magazine) family which has worked very closely with Sonic Team recently, including PSO games, such as the EGM Episode III Quest! Could they possibly know?
Secondly ive come across images rumoured to be original artwork of characters, weapons, equipment etc. from PSU of ST's from 'The Ragol Gazette'.

Thirdly i found word that PSU details could be coming soon next month in the EGM magazine, so if anyone buys it regularly, why not let us know if its true or not eh?

DM, remember its still PSU, no one knows if it will be online yet, or at least i dont think they do. I hope it will be though, and although optimism isnt my strongpoint... I think it will be. Lets say its just a hunch, or inside information, or both (or even neither, lost you yet?

It is definately 100% an online game - they've said themselves its a MMORPG and you cant have one of those with the 'O'nline aspects
And the release date was.. well i take it America, its an american website!
Depends how self-centered the owner of the website is, lol.
I know that the Nintendo 21 is to be released late 2005 in Japan and early-mid 2006 in the US/EU, which, as the trend of the DS shows, it does seem plausable that this could happen, and since it's rumoured to feature a Hard-Drive and Wi-Fi/Internet, it'd be a smart move to release the next PSO game on it.

According to several sources yup, it's previous name being the Nintendo 21, it probably is like Nintendo's 21st console. hence that could be it.
