Nintendo 21?! Odd name...

surely, 128? ~(N64->N128, get it? ahahah)

Note: 400th post in this thread, woohoo!

edit: Nau! Some little sod beat me to it, but who!?
Nintendo 21 is the codename, i think nexus is the actual name... but if they call it a nintendo 21, hell im not buying it :S
Topic again -_-
Nexus is not the name, for starters its a part of the Star Trek universe, and Nintendo themselves have confirmed the name.
N21 ain't so much of a weird name, what about Wonder Swan.

Since the N21 has a hard-drive, if PSO5/PSU appeared on it, perhaps this would minimise FSOD/Corruption.

Out of interest, can corruption occur on the X-Brick of PSO, and does it mess up the entire hard-drive.
If it can't happen, then theyve found an instant way to prevent FSOD, perhaps they could release another add-on for the spare slot that's left oln the NGC, (being as one is taken up with the GameBoy Player and the Modem), perhaps there could be a device fitted to the 3rd slot as a security device, something that detects any unauthorised devices or programs, this would make it possible to prevent FSOD and corruption, perhaps this could even be integrated into the next generation console.

Also, has anyone ever sconsidered how much more powerful games can get without them seeming too real, could you imagine that happening with PSO5/PSU, that it seems so real.

Also rumours are that N21 could interact with each other, this would mean if one person messes up PSO5/PSU, it could affect every online copy, I know that as soon as mine would be switched off, I would also turn off my modem, and disconnect all the cables, just to be extra safe.
Lee-yoshi Wrote:so if anyone buys it regularly, why not let us know if its true or not eh? Wink Lets hope for something big, please! Its been too long!

I have a subscription to EGM and I'm always looking for info on PSU whenever I get my new issue. If there is any info, you guys will be the first to know.
Though most magazines publish "hear-say" anyhow, so by the time they print it, we all know it.
This is most likely concept, but it has the official seal, so ill post it anyway, I give you the nexus.

*Picture was a hoax*

P.S., i know this image is huge, but thats so people can read the statistics, and i know its a bit off topic, but i thought people really should see this, mega - sorry for any inconvinience, if its too huge say and ill replace it with a lot smaller version.
Or, you know, just erase my post, whatever... (feels rebellious)

edit: I removed the picture, it was a fake. Feel free to delete this post.
.......

I've seen that before...

Yup, definitely recognise it. It's a fake. In fact, that picture's been around for two years now. I have a magazine which identifies the Nintendo Nexus as #15 on the Top 20 Nintendo Hoaxes. It even has a thumbnail of that picture.

Yes, it has the official seal, but wouldn't you put that on a hoax, to further fool people?
I see, in that case, i shall remove the picture post - haste.
I havn't read this whole topic so I don't know if anyone has found this out yet but sega is now making PSU for PS2 and PC only.
