i was woundering who here is religious? if you were woundering i am Missouri Synod Lutheran.

no fense to anyone but i'm not a big religion person, i think that must religions just want u to think and act there way and not ur own, also that it's none of our bussenss if there are god/gods in the world,i'm mean u wanna worship them that's cool but don't try and force it on to others, or tell them that they're and ur right. i'm mean poeple have died over religions, in the the crusades almost 1 milloin people died because the churh told them to go and fight for a so called "Holy Land". that's not right, and the Nazis killed jews not only because they had a differnt religion but because they're religion is also an ethinic group. I wonder if poeple will ever realize that it's not who or how u worship it's that u have faith in somthing bigger than ur self, and that u know someone or somthing is there when u need them/it. and if I any one i appoligize but that's how i feel.

Response to bold: The Nazis actually blamed the Jews since they had to blame someone for their economic troubles - by pure coincidence lots of Jews were making livings as moneylenders!

exactly that's why i chose to have no certain religion but respect everyone else's even if unfortanitly happens to cause harm to another group. however if u target one group of people for no reason that crosses the line. and i don't care wat the odds are i'll fight untill i can't stand.

So mimas is it differnt bieing Jewish? there aren't any here,to many Catholic schools, there was one when i moved here but they got ran out by a bunch of Catholics, Kinda wierd actuley,mean!,but weird.

religion can be a very good thing for people, personally im not part of any religion, but i do belive theres sumthing higher than us, i dont think it made us but thats my own belief.

it can also be a very bad thing.
try and think of a war that wasnt over religion?

that's sorta of how i am. and ur right we(U.S.A) are after osma because in his belif we did somthing wrong, it's prosicuting for things they can't change(skin, hair,eyes,parents)and there belifs that to me is the worst thing u can do.

i dont like people who try to force it down ya neck though.

Ehh, aside from stricter food laws and more holidays than you can shake a stick at, it's actually pretty normal, unless you decide to turn Orthodox in which case you'd better be prepared for sermons that bore your ass off, plus lots of minor holidays that get lots of observance. Heck, the Orthodox Jews do 8 days of Passover rather than the normal 7...
