Just incase some of you (Who live in the UK) are thinkin about whether or not to buy Billy Hatcher & The Giant Egg for the Gamecube, buy Nintendo Official Magazine UK (Which came out on December 12th), and make sure you buy it from GAME and no-where else!

Why? Because NOM and GAME have partnershipped to bring out a special and first ever Gamecube Demo Disk, which features 2/3 levels from Billy Hatcher & The Giant Egg!
(Thank god i work there! lol)

So remember peops, grab ure copy of the mag from a GAME store quick, before they run out, causing you 2 kick ureself stupid!

Thanks for the info. Im getting my magazine from GAME now Smile. If you live in the Uk and your planning to buy this game your best getting it from Gamestation . Only £20!!! Can't beat a deal like thta can you? Smile

I know its quite late now, and it'll only make some people want to hurt me (Dont hurt me!), but on the GAME website yesterday, they were doing their special one off 'Deal of the Day' promotion for one day only, which happened to be yesterday!

The special 'Deal of the Day' though was that you could buy Billy Hatcher & The Giant Egg for only £9.99 (Whilst their stocks lasted!). I saw it while i was browsing their website at college and i bagged a copy of it at that super cool price! Although the stock was going pretty fast, i dunno how much there was to begin with, but when i bought it there were only something like 470 copies of the game left!

I dont suppose anyone else here saw it or they too cud have put up a message here earlier! But if anything the lesson learnt here today is too never rule out the big companies!! Wink :p

AR is Action Replay. It's the cheat system used for the GC. It's also got Freeloader included with it. Datel release codes for games that give you extra lives and stuff. Fortuanatly, someone released a code that converted most of PSO 3's writing into English, so I don't have to play in Japanese.

Before anyone asks, I only use it for this.... although getting all the emblems on SA2 might be worthwhile if I get to play 3D Greenhill Zone.

No. It doesn't actually translate the game. It's just redirecting the game when it loads text.

For example, say all the card data is in JP_card_info.txt. The game will load with this info. But ST had also completed most of the card translations for the English version. But they hadn't done everything, so they didn't implement an English version, but left the files on the disc. So all the code does is instead of loading up JP_card_info.txt, it loads EN_card_info.txt.

Nothing can translate any language to another language perfectly.
