I need some help..

I did Seat of the Heart a few days ago, and I didn't get the Ragol Ring. I followed the instructions here and here to the letter, yet I didn't get my Ring.. There are a few points where I don't doubt I could have messed up, though, so I'd like some answers..

When I shot one of the correct computers, I ran past the Gibbles instead of battling it. Did I need to kill it?

After getting up at the beach, I found the teleport and talked to Sue and Kireek before finding Elly. The guides I found don't say anything about them. Did I need to talk to Ellie first?

I found this place's guide today, and it says I had to talk to Bernie in Seek My Master, but no where else, and no one else says I do. Who's right? If I do have to find Bernie in SMM, will it count if I talk to him the second time through? I already did it before doing the Sue/Bernie subquest...

If I can correct the mistake(s) I made this time, could I replay Seat of the Heart to get the Ragol Ring after finishing the tower quests, or would I have to do on Very Hard?

If it matters, I did on PSO+ on Hard, since I got the Soul Eater instead on Normal. If anyone knows, please tell me. This'll be the fifth place I've asked, and I haven't gotten a single reply. ;-;

I'm particularly interested in point 2.

I honestly don't know why you can't get the ring, i mean there can be lot's of reasons and normally it's always the player's fault (even if it's some tiny aspect)

I found that guide while I was bouncing between typing that up and trying to figure the problem out myself. It's what made ask the second to last question. I guess I'll have to go through all of Ep 1's quests to find out the answers to the last two questions. =/

All you need to do is do the sue/bernie plot in ep1 then in ep2 just play the quest. In the first point just answer all the answer right then in point 2 when you break the computer, break only the one that open the door, and Kireek need to follow you.

If your doing everything right in seat of heart then that mean its one of the ep1 quest then, maybe you didn't do all of the right ones maybe. Or your item pack was full....that happen to me once, i was like* ohhhh man! I got to do it again!

I'm pretty sure I answered all the questions right, and I know I had a space open in my inventory.. Two actually. I know because I remember dropping a Wals or Justy that I got during the quest because I couldn't use it. I haven't gotten around to doing all of the Ep 1 quests on Hard to redo Seek my Master or doing the East and West Towers to do SotH again.

Hmm, maybe you didn't got it because you beat it already and now you trying to do it again when you beat the tower quest. Try to do seat of heart on a level that you didn't do it yet.

Did you do the plot all at once or did you defeat a few quests and then decided to do the plot?

I did a few of the quests that I didn't think were related at all, then started on the Sue/Bernie plot. Unfortunately I did do Seek My Master before doing the plot, which I did note in the original post. I did do all of the plot-related quests in order.

In Grave's Butler, I saw Bernie. I spoke with him once, then he disappeared. Was I supposed to do that? He was in Gran Squall, too, but he acted like he didn't know me, even though I already did the Sue/Bernie subplot..

I reckon by doing the seek my master quest you may have mucked it up, but hey there's always Very Hard.
