I tried that, after getting knocked around I decided to hide underneath the floating rocks in the level With Kraid (lousy random level select!). They stopped me from flying up but I still flew forward.I managed to kill one of the computers twice and the others once. One of them (Specifically Gannondorf) committed suicide a couple of times so by the end he had 4 lives. Though he did get the most kills off me. Mario had 8 lives, and Fox had 9. I was Link and I was obliterated.
I can usually pull off a victory in a set-up like that due to computer players having the disturbing weakness of not being able to put up a good fight while they're in the air. All you need to do is keep kicking them up and it's usually easy to win.
i hope SSBM on the revo will be online... com's are too easy even at 9. play it safe then at the right time all you have to is C-Stick Spam the mess out of 'em. and you win D:.

i use the analog + A to do my hard attacks anyway, I'm just saying you
could use that strategy and just murder them.

Yeah, Link's jump-down-A is a little risky, but if it hits...
It's good against computers, but I have a few friends who are really dodge-happy...Up-B works well then.

Link is a very excelling member in group battles. However, his one on one capabilities are hindered due to his low speed and long recovery time. I've used link in many a match and my KOs in 4 player matches have gone around 8 in two minutes. Nowhere near so much in one-on-ones with my brother.
yeah some of me and my bro's friends just chuck something at me when i'm in the air.
that gets annoying -_-. i hardly use his up+b though, it's a too long of an attack imo and it doesn't hurt enough for me >_>
For some reason, it's what I do when my brain freezes.
No idea why, but it seems to work well, for some reason.
