I'll argue over whatever I damn please. I go to high school, and will be going to a university, I'm doing something with my life. Who cares if I argue over a game, it isnt getting in the way of my real life.

i dont mean you i mean... scott bull is having a huge fit over people who are just trying to back up there items so if it the get fsod'd or something these dont have to spend hundreds of hours trying to find them... i bet that almost everyone in the world would do that...

I dont. (nor do I know how...) but I can understand when people just backup their own stuff. sadly, the "duper" sometimes takes advantage of the method and dupes items for other people and it may even evolve into making hacked weapons. This series of events is what has created the insanely simple communities of Apatite 01-01, which revolve around hacks, dupes, and insulting everything on the screen as quickly as possible.

Scott, riddle me this:

- When online, an illegal power down causes all unequipped/banked items to be lost.
- Causes of that power down include FSOD, LSOD, power outages, etc.
- Items are lost online so that a person does not drop his items, have a friend get them, then power down illegall, and therefore have duplicate copies of an item being used.
- Making a backup of an item ensures that there will only be one copy of the item used, and if that copy is lost to FSOD, there will still only be one copy of that item used. Therefore, you are adhering to what Sonic Team wanted.

That's a good point. But come on people, we all have different views on this, and it's never going to end. We're way off topic, I think this should be closed.

Lets put it this way, backup-duping is fine, hacking and other kinds of duping are not.

haha this was a bout people asking questions about fsod, like what is it? what can happen to you? not... i backup my items when i get fsod'd and i hate you hackers suck they ruin the game, your ruining the game because you backup items blah blah blah... yeah we should close this

well, in that case... I have heard many times that you can get your stuff back if you leave it frozen for 15 minutes, pull out the ethernet cord and wait for 15 minutes, then hold "back" (on the xbox) for 5. does anyone know if this will actually work?
