Glitches like duping are also banned I think...

If you really only lose items due to FSOD and that crap, i think i will only use online for trading, unless i get a party of players together before i get online to go on some runs. I worked too hard to acquire all the items i have now to lose them because of some nitwit cheater that crashes the game for fun.

Just stay away from Deneb/Vega to avoid FSOD/BSOD caused by hackers. It's worked for me so far... the very few hackers I have met in other ships have all been nice enough to just play the game without threatening FSOD or anything.

And, IMO, you should keep backup dupes in case of random FSOD (this has happened to my RAmar one time; thank goodness he was covered ). Although this isn't possible with PSO Plus, you can probably borrow a non-plus copy. Or if all else fails, you could ask an illegit that is cool (doesn't threaten FSOD or mess with people) to back it up for you... and you can probably confirm that they gave you both copies of your item because, well... suffice to say, you can see them make one during the process, and then if they give you the other and its stats are identical, that's good enough (because AFAIK you can't make more than one copy at a time... at least that was the case when I made my backups; to make multiple backups I just turned one into two, then two into four...).

Just get PSO:BB for online play, and use your cube for splitscreen with your mates!

No... I've only been online with GC a month, and I have not got my money's worth out of it yet. Not by a long shot. Maybe I'll get the final version of BB when GC gets old, but until then... no. :ermm:

I don't know anyone else that plays PSO that lives anywhere near me. And anyone i try to get into it use these excuses to hate it (it's too repetitive, I hate the real time fighting, this game sucks) all that normally means they can't get the combo's down -_-.

Or they haven't heard of rare items or experienced online play. Once you get over that hype, you could get a lot of people to at least try it.

EDIT: Or if that doesn't work, make sure they understand the ability to create your own characters. That's why I played PSO at first; just watching the other people with their custom characters. Haha. I'm a sucker for character-creation systems...

Well if you want to buy a BB adapter and pay ST just to get a corruption from some AR noob thats fine with me, I payed for it on GC once, won't make that mistake again. And some poeple actually do think PSO is repetative, the 3 hit combos over and over dont work wonders when arguing against this.

Well, this is also why I carry seven weapons (backed up for anti-FSOD purposes): I need my variety, man. Sheik will agree. (actually, I used to carry 6, but when he told me he carries 7, I figured, hell, why not??)

Well I got a hucast to 110 with only one weapon no problem.
