Hi,
I heard about how y can fix corruption.
They say that you first need to delete the guild card file.
I did that, but when i start my game is says again that my file's are corrupt.
I cant gv up my chars, that would destroy all i hv.
Can somebody plz help me?
Some ppl said that if my game says that after i deleted hte guild card file i'm screwed up.
I dont believe that.
So plz tell me how, i really appriciate that.

Wow that sucks man, i'm sorry there really is nothing you can do. Remember, there is only a chance erasing the guild card (GC) file will help you, its not always the GC file that is corrupted. Tried deleting the system file? That is a long shot as it is a small file and it is unlikely that corruption occured during one of its processes/whilst data on it was being saved. If you have to start agin, i advise getting an official nintendo memory card! Only put pso 1&2 (and possibly 3) on it. This significantly reduces the chance of corruption as these mem cards are alot more stable. Alternatively get a USB mem card and Adapter so you can frequently place your data on your PC as backup

I tried to delete the guild card file, but it dident work.
My character file is corrupted, not the system or guild card file's.
I'm now working on connecting the GC with a PC but this is dam hard.
I don't think its gonna succeed, but i try.
With this you can rebuilt the file's and restore them.
This is the only option i have to get my chars back.
And i had a official memory card, but there are people online who corrupt you, and FSOD you.
We can't stop those guys from doing this all, sega is just bad.
They dont repair the glitches or hacks with the AR.
Well i look if all will come good again.

There is no corruption code by the way, it is just unlucky if an FSODer happens to corrupt you. I haven't seen that happen yet. Also, if you want to put your character file on a PC you will need a USB memory card as i said, the adapter wont work with any other memory card. If you think you can network you GC with your PC, then go for it... But it will be hard and probably cost you money for some kind of crossover cable...

I dont got a USB memory card, and it failed.
My only option now is to get an AR.
I use the AR to get my chars back, and their items, i think that that is no cheating, just get my stuff back that i had.
Most people use an AR to cheat, or FSOD, i really won't do that.
I hope it helps, cause corruption is the most bad thing in PSO, i can't accept t lose so much friends and items.
PSO should be a better place without hackers, and those glitches like duping or FSOD.
I just hope that AR will help.

So it is possible to back up your Character File? My friend played online for 3 months and got about 24 FSODs. Of course he always decided to hang out with the wring crowd, Hackers, Dupers, People with AR. I really do not want to end up like him, in fact I am going to get rid of the Duped T J-Sword he gave me. I don't want to have cheated.

Also, how exactly can you tell if an item is duped or not, I here it has to do with like 100% across the board on the weapon and fully ginded, is this accurate or not? I want to know because he gave me a Yamato +66 with 10% on something, I don't want it if it is duped, even though he claimed it wasn't.

hacked weapons usually have outrageous %'s (especially in the hit% area). there is no way to tell the difference in duped items though (unless its a SJS, because duped SJS's don't have the abilitly to become TJS's). hacked items are made with the AR, duped ones are just copies or legit weapons that are duplicated with glitches.

never accept a 10 or higher star weapon online, and nothing that has a total percentage of over 100 (30/0/25/30 on a nine star would be okay to trust, 40/50/25/0 wouldn't be). also, if you see anything with %'s in more than 3 areas, its a hack.

hmm, mostly true ninja, but youre wrong about te sjs. the only reason most duped sjs cannot become a tjs is because theyre a dupe of a hack, and the hacker didnt bring across all the coding correctly. the dupe of a legit sjs, can become a tjs.

WEll..I have heard of a program,for PSO on the PC...it stops FSOD all together...heard its kinda pricy to...so..maybe..if you have the cash..and the PC versio,I highly recomend you get it.
