I think Nintendo will do great when it comes out...because have you seen the prices for the other 2 systems....Revolution will be the system for the poor people...compared to Xbox360...and PS3...they are going to cost WAY to much for me..
knowing ninendos usual high quality of software i will definitely be getting revolution next year and the awesome news we can download all first party software from all previous nintendo consoles for free is awesome too. as for the box 360 it can stay on shelf, and ps3???? well lets see if there is actually some originality and creativity for once.....cant wait for smash bros and mario kart online for the rev.... Smile

Ummmm....no they're not. Nintendo is still doing great in Japan and they are still the king of handhelds. They are the only one's trying new things and being different. Sony and M$ just keep recycling the same stuff over and over again.
I disagree. Gamecube has tainted Nintendo's reputation for consoles, I'm afraid. People already know they can rely on the XBOX and PS, so Ninty is pwned.
Well, the Gamecube is about as dead as it can be in the UK. It's sales in Japan are about 1/10th of the PS2 (although not as bad as the Xbox). I've no idea about the USA or the rest of Europe.

As for the Revolution? I've no idea! The console may be innovative but I'm leaving it on the shelf unless it gets lots of serious third party support, multi-format titles, real exclusives and Resident Evil 5 (sic).

I will buy the Revolution just because it has great (multi) games on it.
I have like every nintendo handheld/console they brought out so i wont disappoint them Tongue

Who knows when Revolution will be released in Europe?
i have heard 2 possible dates and cannot guarantee the acurracy. 1 is mid 2006 the other is spring 2007 for europe. who knows with the big n....
As much as I hate to admit it, GameCube is dead here. In shops you can either expect them to have stopped stocking GC stuff or have a feeble shelf next to like 10 for PS2. However, the DS seems to be doing very well so far, so I dunno...
The DS is not doing all that well right now. They need better games...and crap like that. But I think you're right about the 'Cube's future.
Well you can't expect too much from the DS right now, it came out only a few months ago after all. The games lineup will grow, that's how these things work.

The GC could have gone so much better, but it didn't. I guess it was because they didn't accept many third part games. If they did, people other than Nintendo fans might have bought a cube...
