they kinda did screw up with the cube, even though its just a tiny bit less powerful then the xbox, however they have seriously buggered up with the revolution, it is about 3X less powerful than the xbox 360, and the ps3 is 1.75 times more powerful than the xbox 360...the only gd thing revolution has is its ability to download older games, (i.e pso with a 2 second load
) the only good thing ninty have atm is the ds, which is good, so much better than everything else. nintendo always have and alsways will pwn the handheld market.
Nah, those specs you've heard, including such quotes were based on prototypes on the Revolutions hardware. It will actually be a lot more powerful then that, some representatives of the company saying it could be compared to the other competitors systems!
Thats the thing with releasing console information last, you can surprise all the competition by hitting them hard over the head with a big rubber duck! Theyll do this at the end of the year when technology has advanced even more.
I'd rather wait a bit longer for a more awesome console.

pitty Nintendo havent even revealed the specs for the revolution
all the gaming magazines are going new console mad the revolution will be decent read either cube nintend or ngc and find out i bought both 2day
Hehe, well Famitsu readers (Japan's No.1 games magazine and magazine that all trade goes by) have voted the Revolution the best console so far and they havent even revealed half of the actual thing yet, so its going to at least succeed in Japan!
However, as we all know, console success over here is the exact opposite of console success in Japan, mainly because of different tastes in games. Does Nintendo have what it takes to succeed over here aswell? We'll find out soon enough lol
We've just got to face it, most people's 'tastes' prefer Xbox and PS2 games, not Nintendo's 'weird' games. I would rather play a totally original but strange game than something that's been done before, but I respect other people's opinions too.
Hmmm..... console power. However powerful the revolution is/will be is still a mystery. I and lots of other gamers know that great graphics do not make a good game. Everyone has been successfully wowed at x360 and ps3 statistics. I mean take a look at re4. Do we really need graphics that are 'better'? in japan nintendo does just fine, while xbox has suffered.
Worldwide revolution will do fine, if nintendo do as they say they will........
Maybe that's why Nintendo are keeping the specs under wraps - so that people look at the games and not how poerful it is. The games are, of course the most important thing in a GAMES console.
Nintendo would probably quadruple launch sales if they threw in that the revolution was capable of 8billion teraflops ha ha.............wgas anyway?
