Well, the Nintendo company ARE coming out with new games...but I kinda agree, they do have a lot of games, but they need someMAJOR titles, like Halo and Final Fantasy are for PS2 and Xbox
I see that Nintendo has some good titles, like SSMB, and Zelda...Zelda being thier major one, but they need some better games. But I also disagree with you, because Nintendo will NEVER die out...people will always buy thier games, because thier original games were the best and they always make remakes of them, and also they produce games faster than any other console, and surely some of them have to be fun....Nintendo has a knack of making addicting games.....like Worms 3-D for example...Castelvania also...I for one will buy a lot of nintendo games, and Sony both...any game that is good is good....no matter whom it is made from
I agree on the PSP deal, but only beacause the PSP was made for more than just gameing and older people want a smaller entertainment system to pack around, but at this point they have NOTHING good for PSP and DS has loads of fun games.
dont get me wrong. i dont want nintendo to die. i just think they could spend more time on their games instead of having to worry about their systems. now, i understand that they were the ones who made the gaming industry into wut it is today but some of their ideas r just wacked out. the two screens for ds, the gba cable link thing for gamecube, and they refuse to go online. they also wont let any developers make super mature games for their system. i no its because they want to keep it family oriented but its gettin kind of annoying. the goriest game i can think of on the gamecube is RE4 and that game isnt even THAT gory. now, i no games dont always hav to hav blood and gore to be good (zelda for example) but every once in a while its not gonna hurt. i just wish they would go the way of sega, like i said earlier, and focus on making really good games instead of a few good games with a decent system.

Nintendo will always be around, in my opinion it was, and in a sence still is the fabric of the gaming community. The only problem with their games is (as origannaly said by spectre13) is that they want to keep it simple and family oriented, their idea is to welcome children into the gaming community. As in the case of the new DS however, even though it doesnt compare with the usefulness of the PSP, it still has a revolutionary concept (as nintendo products always have) The touch screen puts a whole new spin on the gaming experience.
yea that is all tru. and, as much as i dont want to, i will agree that nintendo will PROBABLY make systems as long as people play games. i just think it would be in their best interest if they quit doing that and made more great games. i luv most of their games but i think that if they keep makin systems that only some are buying, theyll go bankrupt and hav to shut down the company. now, i dont expect this to happen anytime soon. but if they stay on the path their goin, i believe it will eventually happen...
Perhaps, but with the way they make games, they make A LOT more than Sony does...just that sony puts thier games more towards the Mature Audiece.
As you may know...there are a LOT more kids than adults....and if every kid buys his/her game, Nintendo is making enough money to supply what they want/need.
The main object of Nintendo is too make appeaaling games for all ages. That's how they make money and that's how they create games. Nintendo is the base of all games. I myself happen to be a nintendo freak just like the rest of you. It will never die out as long as people like us still love the game.

Oh, but they make such lovely systems! Personally I like the GC controller the best, it seems the most ergonomically correct of the three consoles.
The reason they make consoles is so they can make the games! If they just gave up and made games for PlayStation & Xbox consoles, the specs might not add up to what Ninty need to make such revolutionary games. With their own console they can do their own thing ^_^

They make different systems for appeal to other gamers....I am going to assume that further systems will be about the same, just different looking....
The games Nintendo make, are supposed to appeal to EVERY group...just in a different way than Sony
