They left a lot out mainly because the manga was an epic spanning a few thousand pages, which was impossible to condense completely into a 2 hour movie.

My favorite episode is probably the Attack of the Saucer Morons. The bee is bad!!
Tak is pretty good it's a shame she has the worst luck. My one of my favorite episodes is Game Slave 2 when Gaz trys to get the latest videogame. And Dim finds out what happens to people who get lost in the underground parking lot.
